This print was done on an enclosure housed Prusa i3 Mk4S with .4 standard flow E3D ObXidian nozzle. @220C. 0.15 Structured layer/speed profile sliced in Prusaslicer 2.9.0. No adhesion, brim or supports. This model is a Helix catchall bowl at 50% (not my design). 5-star silk at a good value price point.
Some silks can really make a simple print look spectacular. I didn't get to all blue/green/gold/purple in this print, but the color is certainly striking and one of my favorites for its refined look. The gradient change in this rainbow is very gradual, so keep that in mind when printing smaller or shorter parts. I tend to like to print silks hot, so I removed this from its vacuum bag and just set it to a 220C silk filament profile. There was no stringing at all in the detail work on the sides and the top and bottom layers look perfectly finished. I didn't dry this at all, and it looks this good. Of course, now that it is opened, I'll have to dry it before next use.
Looking at the spool itself -- it's obvious that LOVOON has invested in a quality process that continues to the excellent spooling wind. I've included a picture for reference. This should be the standard for all manufacturers to provide this even winding -- Very nicely done, Lovoon.
