Perfect print, right out of the box. Printed on Bambu P1S at 210 degrees. No stringing, blobs or any other defects.
I saw some color change on the benchy, but you'd need a somewhat larger print to see much change.
The only negative is that it doesn't come with a resealable bag.
This filament, like pretty much any PLA today, prints nicely. I don't really have any complaints about it. Since I am not using the original AMS I actually like that it is using a cardboard spool and it has a good amount of tie off points so you don't end up with an annoying pigtail of filament hanging off the side when not in use.
I’ve made four or five things from this color changing filament and I like it a lot. I’ve had a couple minor issues, but nothing that wasn’t easily fixed… Which is almost always the case when trying out a new brand or type.
Quality wise this is just as good as more expensive options so I appreciate being able to save a little money. I like the finish of this somewhere in between that and shiny… Sort of a satin +.
I used the recommended settings - tight in the middle - and it worked well… I raised the temp to the hotter side for a taller belt and slowed it down a hair and had no problems. Print speed is the same as other similar types and brands. Color is true and good for medium size belts if you want to see a nice range of color. I never experienced any clogging of the nozzle and the spool is tightly wound - no issues with too much resistance or any bends or tangles.
Used this to print some parts I needed and was happy with the results.
I noticed some slight imperfections in the finish, but this has been sitting out for while so it could probably spend a little time in the filament drier and any imperfections would clear right up. I did NOT see any of those artifacts with the benchy I printed right after opening the filament up.
The pricing for the filament is reasonable and close to what I would normally purchase filament at.
Printed on Textured PEI plate on Bambu A1 Mini. Prints as a nice green and works well with the Generic PLA settings in Bambu Labs.
This filament printed super clean and it's beautiful.
