Silk PLA Filament Silver Shiny Surface

This filament works really well with my 3d printer to create cute models. The filament does not leave many strings while printing and sticks well the the bed plate. The filament is very colorful and there is a color change throughout my prints. I really like that when the filament is held up to bright lights it has a long lasting glow during the night.

This is a fun filament and colorful however the glow in the dark feature was less than what I would call adequate to give you or your kids that wow expression. While this is colorful and printed easily the main feature is somewhat lacking. Printed well ad bed temps between 48 and 60 with good adhesion the print head temp worked at between 190 and 205 and did not string badly or have evidence of burning While I try to print at 250 and sometimes as much as 400 this did best around 180 to 200 and looked excellent for fit and finish. The 4 star rating is because of the poor in my opinion glow in the dark effect.

This filament is a nice and bright color, or should I say two colors. The filament has a clear split between the green and yellow tones in it, and the mix looks great on a print. The spool is tightly would and had no issues in my printer, and prints come out about as smooth as other PLA filaments.

My first time using glow in the dark filament, and I wasn't disappointed. I used this in my Bambu A1 with default PLA settings and had no issues with prints. I didn't have any issues with stringing, clumps, clogs or bubbles. This came already dried and worked straight from the package.

It has a really nice glow effect with the prints, and is very vibrant. It does have it's own unique look when in normal light, and I love the rainbow transition effect.
